Aircraft Management Support Officer

Job Description

The role is responsible for coordinating and supporting the RoyalJet aircraft management service. This role is also required to expand the clientele under managed aircraft as well as improving the offered services with the goal of being a market leader in this segment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with existing and new clients and have an effective communication flow with other departments
  • Ensure that the organisation’s approach to data protection, security and retention complies with best practice and that policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge of all services and products at any given time, and speak knowledgeably on such products and services
  • Responsible for the correspondences with aircraft owners and crew to determine aircraft availability
  • Assist to developing business plan and strategy for product line that ensures attainment of department profitability.
  • Responsible for leading the aircraft financial management with statements and reports that are prepared, handled, and tracked to client’s specification.
  • Coordinates with all the relevant departments to facilitate all the arrangements for the flight as per the customer’s needs such as catering, ground transportation, flight permits, waivers and approvals where applicable
  • Responsible for the correspondences with aircraft owners and crew to determine aircraft availability
  • Proposes the aircraft financial management with statements and reports that are prepared, handled, and tracked to client’s specification.
  • Coordinates with all the relevant departments to facilitate all the arrangements for the flight as per the customer’s needs such as catering, ground transportation, flight permits, waivers and approvals where applicable
  • Work closely with Flight Operations and Crew Scheduling to plan customer’s flight and ensure that service standards are being adhered to at all levels of service delivery to the customer
  • Research service complaints and billing discrepancies, and respond within 24-hour timeframe
  • Initiate client resolution phone calls and letters to resolve crisis situations by offering creative solutions to satisfy clients
  • Complete clients follow up calls weekly as determined by the responsible account manager, Record information and maintain required logs as instructed by management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners, executives and decision makers at all levels.
  • Has the ability to gather and submit detailed business information and problem solving specific to pricing, market conditions and new product development.
  • Manage the quality and accuracy of our air product database.
  • Keep up to date with GCAA and all other AOC entities and regulations.
  • Assist the management to expand the aircraft management portfolio
  • Responsible for the preparation and presentation of various RoyalJet services to potential clients.
  • Assist the management to identify and prepare potential target list and market research in the region.

Skills

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience within the Aviation and VIP/Corporate Jet charter sales market
  • Has an excellent track record in developing business relationships with a high-net-worth client base
  • Diploma/Degree in Aviation Science/ Management or an equivalent combination of education
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with a passion for client’s service.
  • Has Financial acumen and strategic business planning skills.
  • Experience of negotiation in multi-agency, multi stakeholder’s environment
  • Experience in working with contracts, business unit or region and/or professional function
  • Strong knowledge of key partners and stakeholders, their interest, and priorities Regional (GCC) work experience
  • Strong planning, organizing, and integration skills
  • Strong knowledge in the development and implementation of policies & procedures
  • Strong organizational commitment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
