Aircraft Production Planner and Control

Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be responsible for covering work package assessment, maintenance task databank review, tasks scheduling, and control of technical documentation, maintenance check coordination, and preparation for the required materials and tools to carry out the planned aircraft maintenance schedule.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Forecast maintenance requirements for RoyalJet Fleet and call up for accomplishment in a timely and cost-effective manner within the allocated budget.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within RoyalJet to best monitor and control the fleet scheduled and unscheduled maintenance plus modification program.
• Provide scheduled maintenance tasks requirements such as maintenance data, material preloads, tooling, and facilities to perform the maintenance tasks.
• Provide a monitoring chart for the scheduled maintenance to maximize the maintenance ground time and personnel efficiency on the aircraft.
• Prepare work packages for scheduled maintenance items, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Letters in coordination with MCC and Engineering departments accordingly. Ensure compliance with the approved Aircraft Maintenance Schedule.
• Assist with the workflow scheduling by implementing the project plan showing major milestones & events for inputs of more than 3 days. Monitor and update the project plan for ongoing maintenance checks.
• Identify workflow deficiency areas and coordinate with Maintenance, Material and Planning sections, to ensure a smooth maintenance workflow. Collect historical data from previous inputs to assist in estimating man-hour calculation.
• Review completed work packages for appropriate signatories, stamps, and sign-offs, to ensure completion of tasks.
• Schedule all inspection requirements well ahead for the assigned aircraft to ensure it will not adversely interfere with other work as regards with the availability of all resources.
• Coordinate Maintenance activity planning actions in support of unit plans with other concerned activities.
• Attend and participate in the daily meeting to ensure that all scheduled tasks have been done in a timely manner.
• Attend and participate in the pre-input meeting for scheduled line and base maintenance checks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Aircraft Maintenance/Planning, 3 years of which as a Maintenance Planning experience, preferably in a VVIP Maintenance environment.
• Technical Courses Diploma/Certificate or formal Technical Qualification in Basic Aircraft Maintenance.
• CAMO training and CAR 145 training experience.
• Hold Aircraft Technical Courses and Aviation Regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of monitoring work schedules and creating backup plans.
• Previous experience in military MRO and civilian MRO environment preferred.
