Job Description
Responsible for assisting Line Manager with all third-party services that includes Ground Handling Agents in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with GCAA Regulations and Royal Jet policies and procedures.
Operational Accountabilities
- Coordinate with Line Manager & Section Head during the Planning of a flight
- Assist in contract & pricing negotiation for all Royal Jet ground handling agents & Fixed based operators (FBO’s)
- Assist in Identifying and coordinating with FBO’s / Ground Handling Agents and Airport Authorities.
- Assist in updating AIMS with the Agent database for GH agents.
- Assist Maintenance & LOGISTICS team for all AOG related support and coordination.
- Assist Line Manager on communications with GH agents for updated prices.
- Coordinate with Finance on Invoice related queries.
- Assist Line Manager with Follow up on Safety reports, Captains reports and Cabin Crew Voyage Reports.
- Identify acceptance of Dangerous Goods that meet IATA-DGR in coordination with Post Holders
- Assist GOL Manager & Section Head to resolve any issues during the flights at outstation.
- Assist Line Manager in updating all vendors for any diversions, delays, and change in schedule or cancellations of a flight.
- Assist Line Manager On-time Performance (OTP)related data collection related to all outstation departures due to Royal Jets nominated ground handling agents.
Skills
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the aviation and air transport sectors across airport operations.
- Academic / Preferably holds Diploma in Aviation or Business Administration (Preferred educated to a University Degree)
- IATA Diploma in Aviation Ground Handling will be an added advantage
- Excellent command in English Language
- Computer skills is a must – word, excel, outlook
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods
- Advance Knowledge in in ground Operated related Functions
- Knowledge of Royal Jet fleet and capacities and Operational restrictions.
- Strong planning, organizing, computer, and integration skills
- Strong knowledge in the development and implementation of policies & procedures
- Strong organizational commitment & meticulous attention to detail
