JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the delivery of the Regulatory Compliance, Ground Operations Procedures Training including Ramp Safety, Standards, OJT, Dangerous Goods and Aviation Security. Develop and design training courses for ground staff for both new joiners and current employees. Plan and organize Soft Skills, Communication Etiquette, Customer Services, and act as coach new joiners.
RESPONSIBIITES
- Design, develop, review and deliver ground staff training programs (Initial and Recurrent) including Ramp Safety and Aviation Security in order to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain professional knowledge and skills in line with industry standards to ensure competence and relevance of training & knowledge.
- Maintain a record of all courses / trainings attendance / training records in order to maintain accurate database of employee skills, qualifications and licences (with expiry dates).
- Distribute feedback forms post training to evaluate course/training satisfaction and evaluate the training provider to maximise benefit and satisfaction of employees.
- Recommend Design and deliver ground staff DGR training policy and procedures.
- Provide third party training on behalf of Royal Jet when required.
- Collate training records for ground staff and hand over to line manager to maintain it in the employee's personal file.
- Book training facilities if required.
- Review Ramp Safety and Security and recommending changes where necessary.
- Periodically monitor ground staff performance, training knowledge and implementation.
- Provide constructive feedback and counselling for trainees where required on matters related to their ability to meet standards.
- Provide feedback to FBO Manager regarding all training activities identifying possible areas of development in order to enhance and update training courses to be in line with industry standards and development.
- Assist FBO Manager in the review and update of Standard Operating Procedure Manual and GOM Chapter 4.
- Complete administration tasks directly related to training sessions i.e. certificate issuance and update/required document filing. To ensure training records are kept up to date.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be delegated by the FBO Manager, provide administrative support to FBO Manager, as required to ensure proper training are delivered.
Skills
- Minimum 5 year’s Aviation trainer experience is essential, of which 2 years’ experience in Ground Operations, is preferred.
- Educated to a minimum level of Diploma.
- Holds Train the Trainer Qualification / Certificate through GCAA approved training centre.
- Certified First Aid Trainer would be an advantage.
- A recognized qualification in Aviation Security, would be an advantage.
- COVAL/Cat 6 qualification in Dangerous Goods, would be an advantage.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with a passion for developing others.
- Strong communication skills in both written and oral
- Strong Business and Finance acumen.
