The Recruitment Process

Online Application;-

  • All candidates are requested to complete their applications under “Careers” for review.
  • Applicants shall receive an auto-generated response acknowledging receipt of their application.
  • Applications will be reviewed and candidates will be initially shortlisted based on their relevant experience and suitability.
  • Applicants might be contacted for more information if they meet the basic criteria for the job openings.

Applicants Selection Process;-

  • Initial Telephone Interviews for those shortlisted candidates, and for some positions e.g. Cabin Crew an online recorded preliminary answered interview questions is necessary.
  • Those to be invited for assessments will be contacted by the Royal Jet Recruitment Team via email.
  • If applicants are not contacted within 6 weeks of submitting their application, they can assume that on this occasion, their application has been unsuccessful.
  • The selection process is held in Abu Dhabi.
  • Royal Jet shall provide candidates with a free ticket to UAE (Managerial and Pilot posts only), additional travel arrangements shall be at the candidate’s expense.
  • Once in Abu Dhabi, Royal Jet shall provide hotel accommodation for the candidates whilst attending the Assessment Center.
  • Assessment Centre involves comprehensive Human Resources brief, Panel Interview, Psychometric Exercises, Assessment Centers Exercises and Technical assessment.
  • For Flying Crew, the Assessment Center is a two-stage process, added to the above it would include: Psychiatric Evaluation, Flight Simulator and Medical Check.
  • A complete itinerary shall be provided to candidates prior to their arrival.
  • Following completion of the full selection process, a decision of suitability will be made and candidates advised within 4 weeks.

Successful Applicants;-

  • Offers will be subject to suitable references being obtained and other pre-joining requirements being met.
  • A verbal offer will be made to the successful applicant. This will be followed up with a formal Indicative Offer, outlining the terms and conditions of employment.
  • The offer will be subject to satisfactory results from any relevant checks that could include criminal history checks, Psychiatric assessment and medical screening and drug/ alcohol testing.

Unsuccessful Applicants;-

The Royal Jet Recruitment Team will notify unsuccessful applicants promptly and in a tactful and courteous manner – via email.
