Job Purpose:
Responsible in providing 24/7 catering and logistics support to the team to ensure smooth operation of all flights and ensure seamless service to our Guests, in order to ensure 24 -hour support, the SCSO (Senior Catering Officer) is to operate on shift duty pattern to ensure required coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing catering orders and forwarding the finalized orders to the catering agents at base and at outstations in coordination with the pursers, cabin crew as per the VIP customer profile.
- Responsible for acquiring and maintaining a database of menus and pricing from all destinations, so that required catering is planned according to the provided menu/ pricing.
- Responsible for preparing menus as per VIP profile.
- Follow-up on daily flight movement (i.e. AIMS) and coordinate with handlers/ caterers/ hotels/ restaurants at base and down -route.
- Liaise with appointed stakeholders/ vendors at base and down route (i.e. flower vendor, dry stores, commissary services, catering companies, hotels, restaurants, etc.) ensuring the required uplifts.
- Liaise with Fight Crew & Pursers and provide a copy of the flowers/ Dry Stores/ catering order planned for the flight.
- Coordinate with Sales, Crew Scheduling, Flight Operations & Ground Operations Logistics to ensure on - time performance of departing/ arriving Flights i.e. caterers and high -loaders/ cleaners/ etc.
- Follow-up with relevant stakeholders in case of diversions, delays, change in schedule or cancellations of a flights.
- Place catering and dry store orders for flights in UAE and outstation for Flight Crew and VIPs
- Update data base with flights information, details of the catering providers and status of the required services.
- Handle short notice flights, monitor flight progress, and ensure on time performance
- Manage changes in departure or arrival time in a timely manner in order to ensure OTP.
- Arrange Logistics, Transportation and Payment Method of catering from hotel to base and liaise with local handler for collection or for entry facilitation.

Job Description:
Responsible for carrying out aircraft cabin related maintenance tasks on Royal Jet aircraft in accordance with laid down procedures and regulations. Work as part of a team under the direction and guidance of the assigned Licensed Engineer and Aircraft Senior Cabin maintenance technician.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks as directed by a Certifying Licensed Engineer, Aircraft Cabin maintenance technician and duty Supervisor
- Ensure he/she is fully conversant with accomplishing the tasks allocated and seeking guidance in any area or task that he/she requires assistance
- Adhere to all pertinent procedures and safety precautions
- Carry out responsibility for safekeeping the tool kit provided by the company
- Perform other tasks that may reasonably be requested by the Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Aircraft Cabin maintenance technician & duty Supervisor
- Carry out routine aircraft servicing tasks as required in accordance with maintenance manual procedures, observing all safety procedures and manufacturers/company regulations. Depending on the discipline this may include conducting cabin general visual inspections.
- Carry out any component changes as necessary as part of the troubleshooting process. The mechanic must have the ability to use and comply fully with the manufacturer’s reference manuals requirements to understand the removal, installation, servicing/testing procedure and to ensure that the correct materials.
- Effectively use any specialized tooling or test equipment that may be required as part of the checking, testing, replacement or servicing of a system or component. The ability to understand the need for such equipment’s as references in the aircraft manufacturer’s manuals is essential.
- Complete knowledge of the airport authorities’ regulations regarding driving and aircraft movements may be a requirement depending on the work discipline. This will include the safe movement around aircraft on the ramp/in base including an understanding of all signs and road markings of working in such an environment if required.
- Ensure the maintenance of tools and equipment in the relevant workplace and conducting safe working practices at all times.
Job Description
Ensure maintenance tasks and certification of Royal Jet aircraft during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs including “A” checks, “C” checks, Line maintenance checks, trouble shooting, defect rectification, components removal/installation, routine servicing, pre-departure/post arrival checks and standard Aircraft system checks are carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality and serviceability, in accordance with the correct and currently revised maintenance manuals and technical instructions.

Ensure appropriate applications of certification privileges in accordance with the limitations of Company and Local Regulatory Authorizations
Supervision of Maintenance staff, allocated to him by the Duty Supervisor, to ensure safe and on time dispatch of aircraft under his control
Accompany aircraft when away from base as Licensed Aircraft Engineer
Ensure that the organisation’s approach to data protection, security and retention complies with best practice and that policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
To develop, continuously improve and implement the organisations approach to risk management
Monitors ADD’s and all other defects on Royal Jet Fleet and arrange for its rectification, including arranging of spares and tooling at the earliest opportunity.
Monitor closely of operational problems related to the fleet, including significant occurrences/incidents, relevant SB’s/SL’s/SIL’s
Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspection, maintenance, modification, and defect rectification, carrying out all maintenance in accordance with the laid down procedures and ensuring all safety precautions are observed
Ensure and perform all maintenance and due items called up by Fleet Planner and MCC Controller in a timely manner
Provide information to Duty Supervisor on the serviceability status of the aircraft.
Advise Duty Supervisor of any impending service disruptions, problems or areas of concern that may have an impact on the operating program. Keeping the Duty Supervisor informed of all his work performed during his duty period.
Ensure staff under his immediate control adheres to published technical and safety requirements defined in MOE and PPM.
Define priorities to the staff allocated to him to ensure that efficient use of resources are directed to an on time and safe flight departure.
Ensure documentation and certification, are completed in a timely manner and to the defined procedures to meet Royal Jet requirements.
Comply with Royal Jet MOE and PPM when working on aircraft and adhere to the procedure to ensure aircraft is released to service in accordance with local authority and other civil authority requirement.
Contribute as part of the team when away from base, duties including acting as a focal point on technical matters, performing the duties of an “able bodied person” during an emergency situation and supervise cargo loading in the absence of a loadmaster on a flight.
Monitor modification status of the aircraft he is authorized on, including Technical Notices, Quality Directives, and MOE & PPM. Carry out research and inquiries with Technical Records & Engineering, computer system and read all relevant documents, instructions, and manuals thus keeping current of all technical, procedural, and regulatory developments.
